RETURN TO GLAMOUR
For the annual gala invitation, the theme of glamour required a visually lush printed piece. The minimal design and use of red and black inks gives this a sophisticated look. I layered rich black and regular black inks to create a varnish-like effect on the front panel while the text is printed in a metallic silver. The custom A8 envelope ensured the package would stand out in the mail.

JANE LYNCH YEARBOOK
With actress Jane Lynch as the gala guest of honor, I came up with a concept that referenced her Glee show role. This yearbook themed invitation used the high school images of the celebrity presenters combined with handwritten messages from the nonprofit’s CEO and board members. Using a vintage yearbook as the template, I created the classic textured look for the cover while incorporating the book spine for an added pop of realism.

SIMPLY DIVINE
Simply diVine, a fundraising event, featured wine selections from a variety of vintners along with some of L.A.’s hottest restaurants. I created the inaugural artwork and identity mark for the event. These elements were used in all marketing pieces I produced which included the invitation, print advertising, website landing page, social media, outdoor ads, promotional materials and event signage. Simply diVine became a highly successful signature event for the nonprofit.

ADLINK ROADSHOW
As part of Adlink’s marketing campaign to local advertising agencies, we created a carnival-like event designed to entertain and educate attendees about the benefits of Adlink’s services. This cardboard backed, 7-inch long, die-cut faux television remote with custom envelope served as the invitation. To enter into the grand prize drawing participants were asked to visit all ten booths, After interacting at each booth the remote was stamped and entered into the drawing. It was a fun day!

FAUX NEWSPAPER
Conceived as a mini, faux newspaper that folded down to fit in a custom printed A8 envelope, this invitation was printed on newsprint. Newsprint is light in weight so postage costs were kept low despite this being an oversized piece. The printer deckled the edges to simulate a real newspaper.

ADLINK CLIENT PARTY
Adlink’s annual client party at the Sony Studios attracted hundreds of attendees to an evening of cocktails, interactive branding experiences and live music. Printed on thick felt stock to replicate drink coasters and mailed in a custom envelope, the two pieces served as the invitation, parking pass and map to the event.
